In wind power generation, the fan blade is a very critical part. Large-scale wind power equipment shall be designed with proper strength, weight, and structure of blades. The traditional materials will not meet the upgrade development requirements. While the composite materials of CNT fiber are lower in density and higher in strength compared with the traditional materials, it breaks through the performance limits of traditional composite materials. The windmill blade made of CNT fiber reinforced composites reduces its weight greatly while simultaneously increasing the length. A lighter blade reduces the cost of wind power generation and promotes the quality of blade and the overall performance of the power generating equipment as a whole.
